Lau Corporation Ltd was established in 1994 as an IT services company. The name is derived from "Life After Uniplex" - Uniplex being an office automation company where the founder worked for over 12 years before setting up Lau.

Our very first contract was with Staffware (to whom we are very grateful!). In 1995 we starting developing web sites, and worked for Centreline 2000 Corporation - a specialist in Uniplex and Unix to MS migration.

The company has evolved over the years to provide a range of business advisory and consultancy services, including web strategy and application development, business process automation and business efficieny

During 2001-2 these services came together as we Project Managed the E-Commerce Awards for UK online for business (part of the DTI) and InterForum. We also provided the web site, extranet and intelligent entry application which supported the awards during their two most successful years to date.

Our primary focus is business consultancy services through our sister companies - Lau New Media which builds web based, intelligent applications to automate business processes and share information online, and Lau Ventures which provides experience and expertise to very early stage companies.
